Doctor Bio
- Dr. Robert Gabordi II, is board certified in general surgery. His clinical interests include high-risk patients, nipple-sparing mastectomy, innovative techniques for breast-conserving surgery, hidden scar surgery, triple negative breast cancer, breast cancer genetics, benign breast disease, and breast cancer awareness and education. Dr. Gabordi attended medical school at Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia. He then completed a general surgery internship and residency at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Gabordi then continued his medical education by completing a breast surgical oncology fellowship from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Gabordi’s research interests involve trends in breast cancer surgery techniques and the optimal time interval to perform surgery following neoadjuvant chemotherapy. He is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology, the American Society of Breast Disease and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
