    Dr. Black is an excellent doctor who takes the time to be sure that I understand every part of my health care and medicines that are prescribed. I only see him once a year but could see him more often but have no need to have more than a yearly check up for my heart. I would never move out of this area as I would not like to see any other heart doctor. He is the best.

    • Dr. Robert Black received his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at The University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida, followed by a fellowship in cardiology at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.

      Dr. Black is board certified in internal medicine. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of South Florida. He sees patients age 18 and older in the Clearwater and Dunedin offices of BayCare Medical Group.
