Dr. Farooqi did an outstanding job on my yearly physical.

He is one of the best! I have been dealing with my diabetes for a few years. I saw him once and had a major improvement. I switched him as my primary Dr now. He was able to get me using G7 which clearly let me understand my condition. He scheduled a dietitian which I never had before. Within a month, my glucose number dropped from 250-350 as average to under 120-130. Avg 8.3 when I first saw him to now 6.6 avg. My condition improved 50 percent or more. I am grateful for him. My leg pains are not here now

My care provider, Dr. Farooqi, is thorough and has done a great job for me over many years now. Once when I was bitten by a poisonous snake, I went to the hospital ER, where another doctor misdiagnosed my problem and prescribed heavy-duty drugs for something I didnt have. It happened on a weekend, and I took a chance calling Dr. Farooqi at home to ask for his advice about taking the medication. He answered his home phone at 7 a.m. On a Sunday morning, told me not to take anything until he could see me and called his office to squeeze me in the next day. He re-did the prescription and sent it into the pharmacy. So I have no complaints.

Dr Farooqi treats me with respect. He is knowledgeable regarding my health. He is easy to discuss my treatments. My son is transitioning to him from pediatrics.

I really like Dr. Farooqi, but over the last few years I feel totally rushed through my visits. I come in with a mental list of things to discuss and hes in such a hurry to move on (I can only assume to the next waiting patient) that I never make it through the list or have a chance to reflect on what hes said to ask an intelligent followup question. I always think of something Id forgotten by the time I get back to my car. Ive got a rather extensive foreign travel schedule this year to both the UK and the far east and I was not able to squeeze in a question on what to do if I have any medical issue while travelling abroad.

I have to give special credit to Dr. Riswan Farooqi: Once I was bitten by a poisonous spider, was treated at an ER and given the wrong medication. Dr. Farooqi took my frantic phone call at 7 a.m. On a Sunday, called his office to ensure he saw me immediately the next day, and re-wrote a new prescription. Excellent doctor and outstanding human being.
