Doctor Bio
Dr. Reem Ichoa is a board-certified pediatrician serving the Tampa area, seeing patients from newborn to 18 years of age. She completed her undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. She then completed a graduate degree, as well as, earning her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Ichoa continued her medical education by completing a pediatric residency at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, New York.
Dr. Ichoa sees children of all ages from newborns to young adults, with an emphasis on preventive health care. She has expertise in treating pediatric conditions such as allergies, asthma and infections and loves the challenge of the ever-changing growth and development that makes every child unique and diverse. She enjoys getting to know her patients and their families and wants them to feel completely at ease and comfortable. She is certified in basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support, pediatric advanced life support and neonatal resuscitation. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and speaks Arabic.
