Dr. Rebecca Thomas is board certified in family medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in Winter Haven, Florida, where she sees patients age 5 and older. She earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma HSC College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and completed a family medicine residency at the University of South Florida/Morton Plant Mease Family Medicine Program in Clearwater, Florida.
Dr. Thomas diagnoses and treats short-term and long-term illnesses, including hypertension, hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, vaginal infections, urinary tract infections, sinusitis and sore throat. She has expertise in treating chronic diabetes, gastroenteritis and chronic high blood pressure. Dr. Thomas is certified in advanced cardiac life support and basic life support. She’s a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.
