The appointment was overall incredibly disappointing. I came in for continued concerns with my scoliosis as a new patient. Not once did I feel like this was taken seriously - the entire appointment turned into a discussion about my mental health which though previously managed I am well aware of and was NOT there for during this appointment. I repeated several times that I was already diagnosed and did not have a good experience on these medications and was told I needed to see a therapist and/or psychiatrist and get back on your meds. I was again, not there for that, I was there for my back pain which is currently unmanaged. When we finally discussed my pain and I explained I had no financial help and poor insurance so I needed help from a professional but could not afford the best route of care which im already aware of - chiropractic and physical therapy care - but was still given a referral out and given options for over the counter pain meds that I already said I was using and didnt work. I felt very uncomfortable and very unheard and overall it felt like a waste of my time that I took out of my workday - which I need to pay my bills - to just have nothing taken care of that I needed. So I am still in incredibly daily pain and discomfort with no actual new suggestions or help to make this more manageable.

She is always attentive, and shes very thorough

I have never had a primary car physician who didnt spend time talking to me. She was mostly concerned with how I answered my family history. She looked at her computer the entire time and barely made eye contact. I felt rushed. For a fist time visit, I was very disappointed.

Dr. Thomas really takes the time to discuss my concerns. She is excellent at explaining things and provides referrals when needed.

I had moved to Indiana 3 years ago but things did not work out so we decided to move back. I had been seeing Dr. Thomas before I moved and before she went on sabbatical. I had made an appointment somewhere else. I decided to look on the internet to see if Dr. Thomas had returned from sabbatical and if she had, was she covered by my insurance. I made the appointment with her and canceled the other appointment. She is a very good doctor. She listens to the patient and determines with not only test results but also what the patient says to diagnose the patient. Im 73 and hope she will be my physician through my final years of life.

Dr Thomas sat and talked to me for a long time going over each health issue with me. She was patient and kind.

Only thing bad is im waiting for a return call because prescription that was given is not covered by my insurance and I cannot afford it.

Saw Dr Thomas on Nov 13th, was told to go to Quest to get labs, went to Quest on Nov 21st and Quest did not have orders for lab work for me from Dr Thomas. I have left two messages with the office voicemall and have yet to hear back from them. Dr didnt make eye contact, was just typing away while talking to me.

She absolutely does not give in to anything

The fact that she adamantly refused to prescribe .25 MG of my medicine that I have taken once a day for thirty years, was very disconcerting.

Our doctor totally refused to give me a prescription that I asked for. She was very nice though.
