Dr. Ramez Morcos is board certified in internal medicine and board-eligible in cardiology and electrophysiology and is a member of BayCare Medical Group in Winter Haven, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned a medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas in St. Kitts and Nevis, West Indies, completed an internal medicine residency and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, and performed a fellowship in advanced electrophysiology at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Morcos treats a wide range of heart conditions, with a focus on heart rhythm disorders, including supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. His procedural focus includes catheter ablation, conduction system pacing, leadless pacemaker therapy, lead extraction and left atrial appendage closure. Dr. Morcos has collaborated with pioneers in the field of conduction system pacing, a central focus of his research. He has co-authored many publications in leading cardiology journals, and his research contributions have been cited over 400 times in peer-reviewed medical literature. Dr. Morcos is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society and the American College of Cardiology. He’s affiliated with Winter Haven Hospital. Dr. Morcos is fluent in Arabic.
