    • Dr. Rafael Contreras is a hospitalist with Morton Plant Hospital. He provides only inpatient care within a hospital setting and is not available for appointments. He will be responsible for you and your loved one’s care while in our hospital and will partner with your primary care physician on any necessary follow-up care to assist with your continued care, once you return to your home. Dr. Contreras is board certified in internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from Cayetano Heredia University in Lima, Peru. He continued his medical education by completing an internal medicine residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
