No bad experiences only good experiences

This visit with Dr. Tran was a 2 week post op check after my gallbladder surgery. I had significant bruising at the laparoscopy sites and new bruising that was very low in my pelvis that was very painful and swollen. When I showed him the bruising and expressed my concern he said I didnt do anything in that area. No acknowledgment of my concern or explanation of this being a normal occurrence after surgery. I did not get to choose Dr. Tran as my surgeon as I came through the ER. Im sure he is very skilled at what he does but his bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired.

Dr. Tran is incredibly very professional, he takes his time and listens to the patient, answers all questions asked during the visit and keeps track of the problem the patient previously had. The patients who are treated and operated on by this doctor are very fortunate, very intelligent and very competent in his field of surgery. Dr. Tran had reviewed my CT Scans and blood work from the ER, prior to my visit. He was able to concisely explain the surgery that was needed to repair my hernia. He explained the post-operative restrictions. He answered all of my questions thoroughly. He was very professional and polite.

Dr. Tran assumes that a patient know about surgical procedures. He told me that I needed to have my gallbladder removed but he didnt discuss the procedure or possible side effects. If not for Dr. Farrell I would not have received pertinent information about my procedure and subsequent recovery care.

For the doctor I would expect understanding proper explanation and pride in patients care, patients are more than just a patient they are humans with feelings and even if they need assistance with payment they still deserve the same level of care.
