Doctor Bio
Dr. Paula Lundgren is board certified in general surgery, where she sees patients age 14 and older as part of BayCare Medical Group in Clearwater, Florida. She received her undergraduate degree in microbiology from the Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Lundgren continued her medical education by completing a general surgery residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania and then a clinical breast fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Lundgren specializes in breast care and is experienced in breast surgery and the care of benign and malignant breast disorders. Her primary goal and duty is to determine whether a patient has breast cancer, then work with the patient to chart an individualized treatment plan. She is committed to getting patients into treatment and back to their roles as quickly as possible. Additionally, Dr. Lundgren is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons and is affiliated with Morton Plant Hospital.
