I was very impressed with Dr Melcherts professionalism, He knew my medical history, including a recent kidney stone occurrence and diagnosis a local urologist had written. Additionally, he advised me on my weight loss goals.

Dr. Melchert is the consummate professional and is always fully prepared. Others should model/copy his methodology.

Doctor asked a lot of question to obtain what we needed to move forward.

I felt a little rushed through my appointment and I didnt feel like the provider really listened to me when I explained my concerns and background. Even some of the notes he wrote in the portal were incorrect.

Dr. Melchert is always prepared, knows my medical history, and answers all my questions. Hes friendly and listens well, something than many providers dont. Hes been my PCP for over a decade and I hope to stick with him for a long time.

Dr. Melchert forgot to discuss recent imaging results during appointment, even though I have expressed pain as a symptom. He did not show any interest in discussing the medication / treatment provided by others but are part of my healthcare.

I Mentioned to Dr Im one of Jehovahs Witnesses and I do not accept blood! His response was you know your going to Die! Im not exaggerating this was the Doctors exact words! Showed no respect for me or my beliefs! I gave him another chance and went to my follow up visit,but he still had the same disrespect he showed me with my initial visit! I was charged $5 co pay but no examination I questioned the doctor on his earlier statement and he still had the same comment of disrespect your going to die!. I told the doctor I had no trust or confidence in his ability to look after my health with that much disdain against my belief.So I lefted and found another very capable Doctor who has a high regard for my beliefs and willing to look after my health care!

He did tell me there is sometimes a problem in getting the Cpap he requested. This would be a replacement for my old equipment. He asked that I call the office if I did not hear from them about this within one week. It is now almost 2 weeks and I have not heard anything from his office. I will call them on Monday, having been busy this week and trying to be patient.

Dr Melchert is always prepared for my visit and has previously reviewed my test results, etc. That allows us to be able to talk about my health during the visit. I have some doctors who dont look at my records until they are in the room with me. Dr Melchert is excellent.

Dr. Melchert is simply the best PCP I have ever had in my life. He knows everything about the patient and the problem before he comes in the room. He is always on top of any additional care necessary and his demeanor is always pleasant. I never feel as if is is rushing out of the room and I appreciate the fact he does not bring in a computer and remains focused on you-the patient- the entire visit. I am a nurse, have seen great and horrible physicians over the course of my career and he is one of the most intelligent and kind physicians I have ever met or have had as my own physician.

Dr. Melchert is the best of all medical practitioners Ive experienced (at 86 years of age Ive had plenty). Experienced, attentive, and an all-round good guy.
