Dr. P. Benjamin King is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, Florida, where he sees patients from newborn to age 18. He earned his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida, and completed a residency in pediatric medicine at Columbia University Medical Center in New York, New York.
Dr. King is a Tampa native. He had a pediatric practice with Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, New York, before moving back to Tampa. Dr. King conducts wellness visits, performs sports physicals, provides acute/urgent care, cares for adolescent medical concerns and more. He encourages proper nutrition, physical activity and mental health support so that his patients can develop a healthy mind, body and spirit. Dr. King prioritizes open and trusting relationships with his patients and their families, considering each family’s values, in order to make collaborative treatment decisions. He’s affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital.
