    • Dr. Olivia Pop is an internal medicine physician with St. Joseph’s Hospital-South Hospitalist Program. She provides only inpatient care within a hospital setting and is not available for appointments. She will be responsible for you and your loved one’s care while in our hospital and will partner with your primary care physician on any necessary follow-up care to assist with your continued care once you return to your home. Dr. Pop has special training and skill in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of adults across the health spectrum from wellness to complex illness. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Victor Babes” in Timisoara, Romania. She then completed an internal medicine residency at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, followed by an infectious disease fellowship at Yale School of Medicine, both in New Haven, Connecticut.
