Dr. Norele Cutrera is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and part of BayCare Medical Group serving the Tampa, Florida market, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She completed her undergraduate degree in political science from New York University in New York, New York. Dr. Cutrera earned her Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, followed by an orthopedic surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. She continued her medical education by completing an orthopedic trauma fellowship from Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
An accomplished author, Dr. Cutrera has contributed numerous articles to peer-reviewed publications such as the Journal of Clinical Orthopedic Trauma and the Journal of Trauma. She specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of injuries and disorders involving the musculoskeletal system, such as pelvic and acetabular surgery. In addition to treating trauma to the musculoskeletal system, she can also deal with sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors and congenital disorders. She is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital.
