Dr. Norele Cutrera is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and is part of BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned a Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Cutrera performed an orthopedic trauma fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, and an adult joint replacement fellowship at Community Health Network/Shelborne Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana. She specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders.
Dr. Cutrera’s clinical interests include complications related to hip and knee replacement, such as fracture nonunion and malunion. She’s dual fellowship trained in hip and knee arthritis surgery, including orthopedic trauma surgery, and has expertise in pelvic and acetabular procedures. Dr. Cutrera performs ROSA robotic-assisted knee replacement and unicompartmental knee replacement procedures. In addition to treating complex orthopedic trauma, she cares for patients with sports injuries, degenerative conditions, infections, tumors and congenital musculoskeletal disorders. An accomplished author, Dr. Cutrera has contributed numerous articles to peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Clinical Orthopedic Trauma and the Journal of Trauma.
