The care summary for my visit indicates that some things were discussed that were never mentioned. Records should be an accurate representation of the visit, not just a form. Was given lidocaine to numb an area to biopsy but practitioner did not wait for lidocaine to become effective but instead went immediately to the biopsy which I felt.

Amazing, Explained everything as they went along and what to expect afterwards.

Nichol called me with biopsy results when she herself was home ill. She made a point of seeing me before surgery even though it was Dr. C performing surgery. . When she does skin checks she is spot on. Nichol sees a person, not just a patient.

Nichol assessed area on forehead and was on her way out the door before I could tell her about three other areas I wanted her to look at. I felt, she was very reluctant and closed the door and had an attitude while completing the exam. If I cant see Dr. Conner in the future, I may need to find another doctor.

The last two visits (annuals) I feel more as though Im a product on an assembly line than a patient. This was not true when I first changed from Dr. to practitioner Nicole.Let me mention that as a professional myself, I do not expect unreasonable time expenditure. I bring a short list of questions/issues. And Im satisfied with the careful visual examination Im given, but a sense of pleasant in the visit has totally gone missing from the provider (although it is there from the staff).

Baycare can be proud of its medical professional, Ms. Nichol C Raulerson, PA, as she is truly an outstanding PA and skin care expert and medical provider, whom I have always admired for her medical insights, and kind and caring ways. This comment is based on the fact that I have been going to PA Raulerson for years for my annual full body dermatology visits and for other periodic skin assessment needs. PA Raulerson has always been a very kind, positive, thoughtful, and caring professional who always provides a reassuring skin exam and assessment, and she always provides important expertise and insights about various types of skin spots, while she also addresses my related concerns. This year is the first time that I had to re-schedule my earlier scheduled Appt, due to an unavoidable, traffic accident on the interstate which caused a delay leading to my arriving late for my Appt, and I apologized profusely for it, and I quickly agreed with the front desk that I needed to reschedule due to being late. And during my re-scheduled Appt, on 3/12/24, I apologized to both the PA and her assistant for my being late for my prior Appt, but I did not receive a verbal response - even though I was most humble with my apology. And I arrived early for my 3/12/2024 Appt, but unlike prior years, PA Raulersons medical assessment was performed quite quickly, and it was amazingly completed in less than 3 minutes time. Perhaps my quick advance comments to her nurse/assistant about my latest concerns with 5 separate spots on my face and chest may have expedited the PAs exam. The PA was probably in a great hurry with the demands on her very busy schedule that day, but It proved to be a different experience for me for the first time after years of choosing PA Raulerson, as my my skin assessment medical professional. So, I will remain optimistic that my future visits with PA Raulerson will be as reassuring as they have been for so many years. PA Raulerson deserves outstanding recognition for her years of great medical work and expertise, and for her positive and caring ways with her patients.
