Dr. Tran took me off medication saying I dont take it but I do , so I ask to be put back on it

Jennifer Paterno is a wonderful doctor and makes it a point to make sure we are comfortable.

Tran, PA-C, came in shortly to ask about my concern and performed examinations which seemed through and effective. After the examinations and discussions of her observations, she wrote orders for an MRI, Physical Therapy and potential Orthopedic referral. We discussed to wait for the MRI results before the next step of physical therapy or orthopedic referral.

She was very good and caring! She made me feel comfortable with the visit!

Have yet to see my care provider.

Nghi Tran is a lovely person im sure, however with each of the itdmized problems during my 4/21 visit, I see mo value in her being involved in my care.

Ms. Tran was unexpectedly more competent than NPs Ive had in the past and seems more mature and experienced. Ive requested her for future visits.

We talked alot about my blood pressure and I told her about the swelling in my lower legs, which was caused by one of my meds, once she explained that she decided to switch to a water pill - which will help me on my weight loss journey. So that part was good.

I had questions about using Wegovy and was given an excellent answer. However, I was also told that medicare doesnt pay for it. I was not asked if I still wanted a prescription. It has been my experience that younger health care practitioners assume that medicare recipients cant afford out of pocket costs. The arrogance of the young is a very real thing.

Was referred to PA because doctor was on maternity leave, after I saw the PA, the assistant told me that the doctor was not coming back. I actually found the Physicians Assistant to be very knowledgeable and professional.

The lab didnt send over my full blood work results and my provider called to get them while I was there. She received them and everything worked out fine.

I never felt so rushed and really not heard but at this age do this thank you have a nice day. Everyone was nice but I certainly would not be comfortable that they really take care ofMe or listen. It was very clear they were allocated 10Minutes with me and then on to the next person.
