Mladen Nikolic, ‘Mike’, is an advanced practice registered nurse with BayCare Medical Group in St. Petersburg, Florida, who specializes in family medicine and sees patients age 18 and older. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Kaplan University in Chicago, Illinois and Davenport, Iowa, respectfully. Mike can gather age-appropriate histories and perform physicals for non-urgent to complex medical issues for his primary care patients. He can interpret diagnostic tests and assist patients with acute conditions. He is able to prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments, while implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of optimal health practices for his patients. Mike can help facilitate patient decision-making through the use of a variety of educational tools, for his patients’ respective health care needs. He is also certified in basic life support and a member of the Emergency Nurses Association and the Society of Physicians of Vojvodina, Medical Society of Serbia.
