Mihir B. Patel, MD

Dr. Mihir Patel is a board-certified gastroenterologist and is with BayCare Medical Group in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned a medical degree from B.J. Medical College/The State University of Gujarat in Ahmedabad, India, completed an internal medicine residency at the State University of New York in Stony Brook, New York, and completed a gastroenterology/hepatology fellowship at the University of Texas at Houston/M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Patel’s areas of interest include esophageal disorders, colon cancer screening and liver and biliary tract disease. He believes in preventive care, cancer screening and helping to improve his patients’ quality of life. Dr. Patel has been practicing in Tampa Bay for more than 15 years and is highly respected by his patients and peers for his clinical expertise, endoscopic skills and compassionate care. He’s a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Patel is affiliated with St. Anthony’s Hospital.
