Mihaela Soran, MD

Dr. Mihaela Soran is board certified in internal medicine/geriatrics and serves the St. Petersburg, Florida area as part of BayCare Medical Group, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned her medical degree from Carol Davilla University of Medicine and Pharmacy School of Medicine in Bucharest, Romania. She continued her medical education by completing an internal medicine residency at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut. Dr. Soran then completed a fellowship in geriatrics from George Washington University in Washington, DC. Dr. Soran’s clinical interests involve the geriatric community, where she specializes in the unique health needs of the elderly, including management of chronic diseases, with focus on improvement of overall health, using a multidisciplinary approach for nutritional problem, memory impairment, the adverse effects of medications, functional status. She is a member of the American College of Physicians. She speaks fluent Romanian.
