I feel that Dr small should have been more involved since he requested me and directed me to get FMLA in order to be able to adhere to his care plan. I told him I was going to do it meaning apply for FMLA so he should have gotten in or made some notes in my file somewhere that I would be needing help with the forms. It seems there is a big lack of communication when it comes to care and patient needs outside of the care. It seems that all the doctor is interested in is me getting to the appointments he makes for me as well as the follow-up procedures that he schedules every other month for me. Whether it affects my job or my livelihood outside of the hospital, it doesnt seem like he cares at all.
