Dr. Michael Schoeller is dual board certified in internal medicine and sports medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in St. Petersburg, Florida. He provides primary care for ages 18 and older, and treats orthopedic and sports-related concerns for patients aged 8 and older. Dr. Schoeller earned his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee, and completed an internal medicine residency at Naples Community Hospital in Naples, Florida. He pursued advanced fellowship training in sports medicine at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, where he cared for athletes of all competitive levels—from youth and college athletes to active adults and seniors. Dr. Schoeller treats a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic and other sports-related injuries. He has advanced training in administering ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal injections. Dr. Schoeller works with his patients, taking the time to understand their concerns and goals and collaborates with them to create a personalized plan for recovery and long-term wellness.
