    • Dr. Michael Ragone is a hospitalist with Morton Plant Hospital. He provides only inpatient care within a hospital setting and is not available for appointments. He will be responsible for you and your loved one’s care while in our hospital and will partner with your primary care physician on any necessary follow-up care to assist with your continued care, once you return to your home. Dr. Ragone is board certified in internal medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree in biology from College of the Holy Cross in Worchester, Massachusetts. He then earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida. Dr. Ragone continued his medical education by completing an internal medicine residency at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and certified in basic life support and advanced life support.
