    I saw him for a very short period of time. He never looked at the incision site. He did answer my questions. I was later told I did not need to return to see him again.

    • Dr. Michael W. Bradner is board certified in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, with honors, at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa, Florida. He continued at the USF College of Medicine, completing his Doctor of Medicine, internship, and general surgery residency as the administrative chief surgical resident. He served a Cardiovascular Fellowship at the University of Minnesota, Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

      In addition to scholarships, Dr. Bradner’s commitment to excellence earned him several honors for outstanding research and presentations at national and international meetings. Dr. Bradner’s major clinical interests and research have been in the fields of advanced heart failure including mechanical circulatory support and transplantation. He is a member of The Lillehei Surgical Society, American College of Surgeons, and the Florida Medical Association. He is affiliated with St. Joseph's Hospital.
