This was my first visit with Dr Melanie De Souza and it was a great experience. She listened to me and when she responded, she made sure I understood what she was saying and if I had any questions for her.

She is the ultimate. We have never had such a good one. We are so fortunate to be patients of her!

I appreciate that Dr. Desouza listens to me. I mentioned some issues I was having that I thought were from my meds and she acknowledged it could be from that but was concerned it may be something else and sent me for testing. Sure enough I have gallstones and I would have continued to suffer thinking it was meds without her being proactive and checking

Only problem is with scheduling in a More timely manner for appointments and need for a quicker link between phone calls and answers between patient and doctor.

I have only good impressions of my care provider. She remembers my history and offers helpful suggestions.

Dr. De Souza is always smiling, asks how I am doing, listens to everything I say, asks questions about how I feel, medications, how I am in general with stress and family. She goes over any test results with me and discusses ways to make anything better that I may be concerned about.

Dr De Souza was fantastic. I was so impressed with the time she took to speak with me; the questions she asked about my health and care.

I am hearing impaired, and sometimes she talks in a low voice or too fast and I have to ask her to repeat the info.

I had 1 test not back when I visited Dr DeSouza last week. A 24 hour urine collection. She said she would call me when it came in. It did come in, I got the results from Quest. She still has not called me. I will call over there and ask for her to get back to me. It is an important test on kidney function. The time spent with the Dr is good, but could be better given another 5 minutes. She moves so quickly, typing while I am talking, I dont feel I really get attention. She seems to hear me, but I have to move so quickly through my thoughts that even with a list of questions, I struggle. I wish there was time for just a little banter. Like my family, my interests, my past health experiences, and concerns. It is all business all the time. That I do not care for. I value the small office feel, that I think could be accomplished in a big corporate office, but it is not high on the list I suppose. Get them in, get them out.
