Doctor Bio
Dr. Meghan Humbert specializes in neurology and is a member of BayCare Medical Group in Riverview, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Seton Hill, Pennsylvania, and completed an adult neurology residency and a clinical neurophysiology fellowship from the University of Florida Department of Neurology in Gainesville, Florida.
During her residency, Dr. Humbert received the Gold Humanism Award, given to physicians who exemplify behavior that promotes humanism in medicine. Additionally, she was elected to be chief resident by faculty and co-residents. Upon graduation, Dr. Humbert received the distinguished Chairman’s Award for Excellence in Patient Care, an award given to the resident felt to have provided the most compassionate and comprehensive care to patients, as voted by their co-residents.
Her clinical interests include electrophysiologic diagnostics, general neurology and headache medicine. Dr. Humbert incorporates cutting-edge diagnoses and therapeutics to give her patients a comprehensive plan of medications and therapies. She’s a member of the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Florida Society of Neurology. Dr. Humbert is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital-South. She’s fluent in Spanish.
