She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida, followed by a family medicine residency at Ocala Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Florida.

      Dr. Abid is certified in basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support, pediatric advanced life support and neonatal resuscitation. She prefers to explore the many health care options available for each patient.
