Doctor Bio
Dr. Madeline Carroll is an internal medicine physician with the hospitalist program of St. Joseph’s Hospital-South. She provides only inpatient care within a hospital setting and is not available for appointments.
She will be responsible for you and your loved one’s well-being while in our hospital, and will partner with your primary care physician to assist on any necessary follow-up information that will assure a smooth transition once you return safely to your home.
Dr. Carroll is board-certified with BayCare Medical Group’s hospitalist program at St. Joseph’s Hospital-South. She received an undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College of
Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Carroll completed an internal medicine internship and residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where she spent an additional year as chief resident. She previously worked as a hospitalist and an assistant professor of Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
