Doctor Bio
Dr. Luiz Marconcini is board certified in internal medicine and hematology/oncology and part of BayCare Medical Group, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He completed his undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts and a graduate degree in medical sciences from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Marconcini then earned his Doctor of Medicine from Saint George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He continued his medical education by completing an internal medicine residency at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Fargo, North Dakota. Dr. Marconcini then completed a chief fellowship in hematology/oncology from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
An accomplished author, Dr. Marconcini has contributed numerous articles to peer reviewed publications. He is also certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. Dr. Marconcini is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He speaks Brazilian Portuguese and some conversational Spanish.
