Dr. Logan Corey specializes in gynecologic oncology for BayCare Medical Group, serving the Clearwater area, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and completed his undergraduate degree as well as his medical degree at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Corey then completed a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana. He then completed a three-year fellowship in gynecologic oncology, a subspecialty focusing on treatment of cancers of the female reproductive tract, from the Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Corey has presented and published numerous peer-reviewed articles and journals on gynecologic oncology, gave a plenary presentation at an international pathology conference, and participated in clinical research studies conducted at the Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Corey finds fulfillment and passion in truly getting to know his patients and their loved ones and is dedicated to fostering a relationship with his patients while providing the highest quality of comprehensive clinical care. He is affiliated with Morton Plant Hospital.
