Doctor Bio
Dr. Lance Real is board certified in family medicine and is a member of BayCare Medical Group in Lithia, Florida, where he sees patients age 13 and older. His clinical interests include cholesterol issues, diabetes, hypertension and osteoporosis. Dr. Real earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, and completed a family medicine residency at the University of Nebraska/Creighton Medical Center/United States Air Force in Omaha, Nebraska.
Dr. Real is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He believes in the importance of preventive care – he treats acute and chronic illnesses and listens to his patients to include them in determining their health care direction. He’s a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
