Doctor Bio
Dr. Kirk Jobe is board certified in neurological surgery and is with BayCare Medical Group in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, and completed a neurosurgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Jobe’s clinical interests include complex tumors of the skull base, spine and brain. He’s trained in open and minimally invasive spine surgery and has had specialized training in cyberknife radiosurgery, a beneficial alternative to traditional open-brain surgery. Dr. Jobe has contributed numerous articles to peer-reviewed publications including Surgical Neurology and Neurosurgery Focus. He's a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Jobe is affiliated with St. Anthony’s Hospital, where he serves as the co-director of the Minimally Invasive Skull Base Center.
