    • Dr. Kevin Seeras is a board-certified general surgeon serving the Wesley Chapel and Tampa, Florida area for BayCare Medical Group, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. He continued his medical education by completing a general surgery residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan, followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive, foregut and bariatric surgery at Stony Brook University in Stoney Brook, New York. Dr. Seeras’ clinical interests include robotics, foregut, bariatric/metabolic surgery, as well as complex hernia. As an accomplished author, he has contributed numerous peer-reviewed publications to reputable journals. Dr. Seeras is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and the American Hernia Society. He is affiliated with BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel and St. Joseph’s Hospital.
