Dr. Kenneth Murdison is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist and is with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa Bay, Florida, where he sees patients from birth to age 21. Before joining BayCare Medical Group, he retired from The Children’s Hospital of Georgia at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia, after 21 years, and then practiced at Pediatric Cardiology Associates. Dr. Murdison earned a Doctor of Medicine from Queen’s University School of Medicine in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, completed a pediatric residency at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada, and performed a pediatric cardiology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Murdison has performed hundreds of cardiac catheterizations and participated in clinical trials of devices that are now routinely used in caring for pediatric cardiac patients. Dr. Murdison treats children who have complex cardiac defects. He’s a peer-reviewed author of numerous articles for publications including Pediatric Cardiology, the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, the Journal of Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery and Circulation. Dr. Murdison is a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions and the American College of Cardiology. He’s affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and many other hospitals throughout Tampa Bay.
