Dr. Essig seemed distracted and it was distracting for me that he kept talking into his recorder while I was explaining why I was there. I didnt feel like he was really listening to me.

Seemed rushed and in a hurry to leave the room.

Dr. Essig was very nice to deal with. He listened carefully, did not bombard me with tests, his bedside manner was excellent. My experience with him provided me with total relief from worry.

What can I say about Dr. Essig Not enough space to go into it. I told him he needed to think outside the box like my PCP and develop a reasonable treatment plan, instead of the standard recommended course that Hes taken that got us nowhere. Because my PCP did think outside the box and put me on a medication that helps my condition that was out years ago and why didnt he put me on it Not the recommended course of treatment was the answer. The hell with the standard recommendation finding something that works was my answer.

He started talking into his microphone while I was talking. Didnt excuse himself or explain what he was doing. He interrupted me once, then in a condescending manner, as if I didnt know the information, told me about my rights. I didnt bother explaining. He was too busy!

His reserved personality & lack of get-acquainted conversation bothered me a little at first but I soon came to believe these were actually assets for a good specialist & surgeon. I have confidence in his knowledge & that he will give me excellent care.

The provider answered all my questions to the point and explained my treatment very well. I called back to the nurse to change my script cuz my insurance wouldnt pay for the other and he did that very well and I was able to get my script I would recommend him highly he is very well skilled and very well mannered
