Dr. Kaveh Vali is a board-certified general and pediatric surgeon and is with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, Florida, where he cares for patients from newborn through adolescence. He earned a Doctor of Medicine from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, completed a general surgery residency at the University of California at San Francisco in San Francisco, California, and completed a pediatric general surgery fellowship at the University of Montreal’s Sainte-Justine Children’s Hospital in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Dr. Vali has a special interest in minimally invasive pediatric surgery, as well as the treatment of pediatric gastrointestinal conditions, including short bowel syndrome and colorectal disorders. With more than 15 years of experience, he communicates openly with his patients and their families, taking the time to thoroughly address all needs and concerns. Dr. Vali is certified in advanced trauma life support and pediatric advanced life support. He’s a member of the American College of Surgeons and the International Pediatric Endosurgery Group. Dr. Vali is affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital. He speaks French, German and conversational Spanish.
