Katherine McKiel is a board-certified physician assistant and is with BayCare Medical Group in Clearwater, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She received a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health, a Master of Science in Exercise and Nutrition Science and a Master of Physician Assistant Medicine from the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida. Katherine’s clinical interests include incision and wound care, operating room preparation and suturing techniques. She obtains medical histories, performs physical examinations and reviews laboratory and imaging results. Katherine is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support, basic life support and pediatric advanced life support. She’s a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates, the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery.
