Dr. Julio Perez-Mustelier is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon and is with BayCare Medical Group in Trinity, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida, completed a foot and ankle surgical residency at Bethesda Hospital East in Boynton Beach, Florida, and finished a foot and ankle reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Orthopedic Center of Florida in Fort Myers, Florida. Dr. Perez-Mustelier, with expertise in both conservative care and complex surgery, treats the full range of foot and ankle conditions, from sprains, fractures and ingrown toenails to chronic pain, deformities and complex wounds. He specializes in minimally invasive bunion surgery, flatfoot reconstruction, foot and ankle trauma, Charcot reconstruction, ankle arthroscopy and sports medicine.
