Jose Cura, Jr MD

Dr. Jose Cura, Jr. is board certified in internal medicine. He serves the Tampa, Florida area as part of BayCare Medical Group, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned his graduate degree in clinical chemistry from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and his Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad Central del Este, San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic. He completed his internship and residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Staten Island, New York and a fellowship in cardiology at State University of New York in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Cura is a member of the Hillsborough County Medical Association and the Florida Medical Association. He is affiliated with St. Joseph's Hospital.
