Dr. Jorge McCormack is board certified in pediatric cardiology and pediatric cardiac electrophysiology, and is with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa Bay, Florida, where he sees patients from birth throughout adulthood. Before joining BayCare Medical Group, he practiced at Pediatric Cardiology Associates. Dr. McCormack earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico, performed a pediatrics internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and completed a research fellowship and clinical fellowship in pediatric cardiology from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida.
Dr. McCormack has a clinical interest in electrophysiology and manages arrhythmias, pacemakers and sudden death syndromes. Dr. McCormack is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society and is a member of the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology and the Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society. He’s affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and many other hospitals throughout Tampa Bay.
