Doctor Bio
Dr. Jonathan John is board certified in pediatric cardiology, specializes in fetal cardiology, and is with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa Bay, Florida, where he sees patients from birth to age 21. Before joining BayCare Medical Group, he practiced at Pediatric Cardiology Associates. Dr. John earned a Doctor of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, performed a pediatrics residency at Shands Hospital/University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, and completed pediatric cardiology and noninvasive imaging fellowships at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He received the MAP-Reader’s Digest International Fellowship and the Christian Medical Society's Westra Fellowship for his medical missionary work in Zambia, Africa.
Dr. John’s clinical interests include pediatric cardiology, fetal cardiology, noninvasive imaging and cardiac intensive care medicine. He’s a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography. Dr. John is the director of pediatric cardiology and the director of fetal cardiology at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. He’s affiliated with St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and many other hospitals throughout Tampa Bay.
