Doctor Bio
Dr. Joanna Greenhalgh is board certified in family medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in Largo, Florida, where she sees patients age 10 and older. She earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a predoctoral fellowship in osteopathic manipulative medicine at Rocky Vista University College of Medicine in Ivins, Utah, and completed a family medicine residency at the Florida State University College of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program in Fort Myers, Florida.
Dr. Greenhalgh’s clinical interests include common illnesses, chronic diseases, mental health concerns, musculoskeletal injuries and other minor injuries. She works with her patients to understand their condition, creates personalized treatment plans, prescribes medication and provides referrals when needed. Dr. Greenhalgh provides hands-on treatment of osteopathic manipulative therapy for acute/chronic musculoskeletal injuries, headaches/migraines and other conditions. She takes a holistic approach to health care and educates patients on how to maintain good nutrition and lead healthy, fulfilling lives. Dr. Greenhalgh is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support, basic life support and pediatric advanced life support. She’s a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, the Institute of Functional Medicine and the American Academy of Osteopathy.
