This is the first time I saw this provider. She was new to the office. She was absolutely amazing. My appointment was for a six months follow up. I was going to cancel it because the previous two times I went ithought it was a waste of my time and got no information or care. I was so happy that I had went. It was one of the most informative appointments Ive had during my breast cancer journey.

JoAnn Newmons is an advanced practice registered nurse with BayCare Medical Group serving the Clearwater, Florida area where she sees patients age 18 and older. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in community health nursing from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. She then completed a Master of Science degree as a nursing adult nurse practitioner from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. She then earned a family nurse practitioner certificate from the University of Massachusetts in Boston, Massachusetts.
JoAnn considers her greatest strength to be how she communicates and cares for her patients. She will strive to provide consultation and pre- and post-operative information to patients, as well as performing exams, order and evaluate lab results and diagnose imaging. JoAnn will help lay out a coordination of care as part of your treatment plan.
