Dr. Jessika Bauer is board certified in family medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lynchburg, Virginia, and completed a family medicine residency at the University of Buffalo/Sister’s Hospital in Buffalo, New York, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Bauer treats a wide range of chronic medical conditions and acute illnesses. She has a special interest in nutritional counseling and weight loss strategies, prioritizing open communication and patient education to promote preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices. Dr. Bauer works with patients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that support their health goals and overall well-being. She’s certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. Dr. Bauer is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the Obesity Medicine Association.
