Jeet J. Mehta, MD

Dr. Jeet Mehta is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular diseases, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and internal medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in Winter Haven and Bartow, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Missouri in Kansas City, Missouri, and completed an internal medicine/pediatrics residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita, Kansas. Dr. Mehta continued his medical education with a fellowship in cardiovascular disease and an advanced fellowship in interventional cardiology and advanced training in structural heart disease and complex and high-risk coronary interventions at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida.

Dr. Mehta’s clinical interests include complex coronary interventions. He specializes in structural heart disease, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement, mitral transcatheter edge-to-edge repair, left atrial appendage occlusion procedure and other minimally invasive transcatheter therapies. Dr. Mehta is a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, the Heart Rhythm Society and the American College of Physicians. He’s affiliated with BayCare Winter Haven Hospital and BayCare Bartow Hospital. Dr. Mehta is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
