Dr. Jacob is normally on time for appointments, and she always takes her time when she is with me, which I really appreciate. She does give options for care and allows you to participate in care decisions. I trust her and would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a cardiologist.

I experienced Dr. Jacobs to be quite business like and matter of fact. She asked me why I was visiting her and I explained I thought I might have POTS. I talked about my balance issues and that I would like a tilt test. Without looking at me, she told me I did not have POTS and she would order other tests for me which were scheduled on February 15. I felt uncomfortable. Most of the time Dr. Jacobs looked at the computer

Dr. Jacob was great. She was professional and friendly, She spoke in simple terms, and explained the various aspects of my AFib, and its treatment. We talked about options, and she was patient in answering questions fully.

Doctor wanted me to take Lisinopril 10 mg but she ordered Lisinopril 20 mg. . I had to cut the small pills myself, but it was very difficult. This was my first visit with her, after the visit she informed me that she was going somewhere and I will see a different doctor

Dr Jacobs is bright, courteous and always late. She understands the workings of the heart, but difficulty articulating that information to me the patient. I brought a list of questions, I made suggestions on my next steps, you definitely have to be your own advocate here. Perhaps she feels most people wouldnt understand even if she did explain so why bother.
