Dr. Janak Patel is board certified in family medicine and is with BayCare Medical Group in Tampa, Florida, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Basseterre, Saint Kitts, completed a family medicine internship at Sanford Hospital/CHI St. Alexius in Bismarck, North Dakota, and completed a rural family medicine residency at the University of North Dakota, West River Health Services, in Hettinger, North Dakota. Dr. Patel builds trusting relationships with his patients and promotes open communication. He works with them to create care plans that are tailored to their unique needs. Dr. Patel stays up-to-date on the latest medical advancements. He’s certified in advanced cardiovascular life support, advanced trauma life support and pediatric advanced life support. Dr. Patel is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
