Dr. Swoager is a Bay Care physician and their lab is convenient for me.I am a snowbird and Dr. Swoager talked with me about all my needs here and in Wisconsin. He advocates for my care even though I am here only six months annually.

Dr. Swoager is in a league of his own. There is no other primary care provider that listens to their patients, diagnosis their patients, fights for their patients, and advocates for their patients more than Dr. Swoager. Nearly my entire family sees him now, including my child.

I have been going to Dr. Swoager for years. He does give me referral choice doctors such as for my colonscopy since my GI doctor moved away. He is always good about that and also his staff to print out a list, then I will research their credentials and decide for myself.

The doctor was very quick, and expressed the condition was not serious, thats want I got out of it.

Dr Swoager was very familiar with my records. The day after my visit I got blood results. The Dr suggested dietary changes. I had to insist on getting the blood work done again with fasting due to such a dramatic increase in one area. We agreed on retesting with fasting in December.

Dr Swoager spent all of 4 minutes with me. I broke three ribs in April which were Dx at Baycare urgent care. He did not ask about this even though he should have had access to those records ( I informed him), and his response was to ask how it happened. He did not inquire how I am feeling or request follow up films/evaluation of those ribs. I informed him I stopped taking Escitalopram (which he Rx) after taking it for a few years as I was having difficulty sleeping. His response was to offer me a Rx for sleep med. He did not ask how I was doing off of the Escitalopram, or ask questions to explore the insomnia. He did not Inquire about the spironolactone I take since last seeing him, which was Dx by my derm for acne. I would think he would be Interested In everything I take and why. I had to request certain blood levels be checked in my draw that day, as he did not offer any Information about what would be checked In my bloodwork. And that was it. In and Out. I am a healthy young lady.

Even after I had to go to a dermatalogist, Urgent Care and ER, all who could not figure out the underlying cause of my issue but as soon as I got in to see Dr Swoager he diagnosed the problem and I am feeling good again
