This appointment was awful. It took 18 minutes for me to be called back, have my vitals taken and medication list reviewed by the nurse, wait for Dr Gierrbolini, be seen by him, and check out/schedule my next appointment. 18 minutes from start to finish. I had a list of questions I needed to ask the doctor but his hand was already on the door ready to leave the exam room probably 7 minutes into the appointment. I tried to ask more questions, but he kept his hand on the doorknob ready to leave while I tried to get answers. My condition has ruined every aspect of my life and I just want to try and get answers and find a way to move forward with the condition but I dont really feel like Dr Gierbolini gives me the opportunity to get answers. Im tempted to switch to another neurologist in the practice. I understand Dr Gierbolini is very busy and keeping appointments brief is key to keep him on schedule but not at the expense of his patients. I was so disappointed in this visit. Its happened at other visits too, but this time I came prepared with notes on my side effects and concerns and it didnt even matter. I felt like I wasnt given the time. I worry that the briefness with which I was seen could have an impact on my healing or ability to live a normal life and its incredibly frustrating.
Dr Gerbolini is my favorite as he listens and regards you as a fellow human.
