Dr Baquero is fantastic and goes above and beyond for his patients. When my insurance wanted me to pay $2000 for the medication Dr. Baquero wanted me to take and denied prior authorization, he went out of his way to get me samples of the medication so I could complete my treatment. Doctors this caring are hard to find

Efficient and targeted solution

First visit to this MD. Have been to several specialists since May of 2025 for a diagnosis of some troubling discomfort. Still none. This MD spent about 8 minutes with me. Changed med dosage & ordered a test. Earliest test could be scheduled is in May. So, that means three more months of feeling lousy before this MD offers a solution (or not).

I been a patient with 2 other gastro doctors.The only time they spoke to me was a few minutes before and after procedures. This dr took the time to speak to me every single time I was in his office. He always listens to what I have to say and explains things so I can understand. He shows me that he really cares about his patients.

4 months was the soonest I could be seen for follow up after endoscopy. This limited my ability to have a second procedure needed within same insurance year.

This is my first visit with Dr Baquero. I was happy with the visit and confident Im in his care plan and the tests that needed to be completed to figure this all out.
