Hailey A. Checkinson, APRN

Hailey Checkinson is a board-certified nurse practitioner with BayCare Medical Group in Winter Haven, Florida, where she sees patients age 18 and older. She completed a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Polk State College in Winter Haven, Florida, and a Master of Science in nursing with a specialization as a family nurse practitioner from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. Hailey’s clinical interests include women’s health, heart disease, hypertension, obesity, diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome, hyperlipidemia and asthma. She diagnoses and treats patients who have acute and chronic conditions and keeps an open line of communication with them. Hailey is certified in advanced cardiac life support, basic life support, neonatal resuscitation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. She’s a member of the American Nurses Association, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Polk County Advance Practice Nurses Association.
