Dr. HaiDang Hoang is board certified in family medicine and serves the Auburndale, Florida area as part of BayCare Medical Group, where he sees patients age 18 and older. He received his undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He continued his medical education by completing a family medicine internship at Sun Coast Hospital in Largo, Florida and residency at St. Petersburg General Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. During this time he was the chief resident and was named Resident Teacher of the Year in 2010 by Florida Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Dr. Hoang also completed his Master in Medical Management from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Hoang’s clinical interests include arthritis, hypertension, depression, diabetes management and smoking cessation.
